Research report: 'Supporting disabled refugees and asylum seekers: opportunities for new approaches'

This research examines how refugee community and mainstream organisations assist and support disabled refugees and asylum seekers in London. The study highlights the difficulties faced by disabled refugees and asylum seekers in accessing services.

New Migrants in England and their Needs

This research was commissioned in 2007 and maps new migrant communities in the UK.

This research includes a report, anecdotal information from stakeholder interviews and 11 locality studies which summarise and explain all available data sets.

From Refugee to Citizen: Standing on my own two feet

This research marks the 50th anniversary of Refugee Support and was launched at a national event in Westminster on October 29, 2007. The research was conducted by the Institute for Public Policy Research(ippr) who interviewed 30 refugees who arrived in the UK between 1956 and 2006. These case study interviews examined what 'Britishness' and 'Integration' meant to Refugees.
